A Heartfelt Goodbye from Circus Play Cafe

Dear Friends,

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share some difficult news-Circus Play Cafe will be closing its doors permanently. After nearly a decade of laughter, play, and community, the rising costs of operation, the lasting impacts of the pandemic, and the increasing economic pressures have made it impossible for us to continue.

This is not a decision we ever imagined making. Since we first opened in 2015 our dream was to create a space where families could gather, where children could play freely, and where connections could be made over coffee and conversation. However, in recent years, soaring rent, higher wages, inflation, and the increasing costs of goods and insurance have placed an unsustainable strain on our small business. Despite our best efforts, these challenges have made it impossible to keep our doors open.

Through it all, you--our wonderful community-have been the heart of Circus Play Cafe. We are beyond grateful to our incredible staff, who have poured their hearts into making every visit special. To every family who walked through our doors, to every child who ran in with excitement, and to every parent who found a moment of rest here--thank you. Your support, your stories, and your smiles have meant everything to us.

While this chapter is coming to an end, we will always cherish the memories we have built together. We hope that in some small way, Circus Play Cafe has left a lasting imprint on your hearts, just as you have on ours.
